There is no such thing as real food any longer. Even if you grow it yourself, you are still using modified food organisms that have been perverted away from what was historically produced centuries ago. We selected our foods for certain qualities and properties and they are now wholly different from their once "wild" ancestors. Compare corn to wild maize and you will see this cultivated change. We have forever altered our food base and there is no turning back. To some credit, however, some of these cultivated changes have yielded vast improvements in our health, but most of it has led to future health issues that we are now seeing expanding before our eyes like the waistline of a mayodumpster. There's no simple "just grow it yourself" solution to the problem. We have to figure out another way to adapt while also not stepping backwards into returning to an agrarian society. I don't have the answers, but no one else does either.

Wait! I thought a hamburger would consist only of 100% Beef. The bun, flour, water, yeast and salt. The toppings should be whatever the toppings are.
