I saw Kroger's selling 4 individual potatoes for $4. Used to be you could get a 20 lb bag for that much. Good luck even finding a 20 lb bag anymore. Even the ones in a 10 lb bag are small and not great quality. Are fast food places buying up all the good, cheap potatoes or what?

You are not supposed to be noticing....

2 of the stores near me completely re-did all of their produce shelfing to make it less than half as deep to make it look like there is more produce than there is. They are also out of a lot of "basics" far more often than they ever had been.

Try to grow as much of your own stuff as you can. Grass is stupid and useless. Grow food instead.
