To tell the truth I find more enjoyment from a great bacon cheese burger than any steak. I find these steak people pretentious on par with the wine tasters. They get excited over silly stuff because food is food to me and unless it's the best food I've ever eaten it's still food. Hell I had a luxery last night, we had cheesy hashbrowns for dinner, now I'd choose that or a bacon cheeseburger over any steak, cost or rarity is not the issue but I have simple tastes and enjoy the basic foods. This steak crap is like the NFL suddenly rich guys spending a $1000 on a bottle of booze all the time. That's just trying to show off in my eyes and they flaunting their wealth like it makes them better in other peoples eyes when in fact it's kind of pathetic attention getting like showing off sneakers in high school. Hell I was lucky to get a new pair every year so just having comfortable shoes is good enough for me.
