I actually had a hard time finishing the first one. Dog got two good bites. I might be poor by many standards but bacon really isnt a treat anymore. And I actually made these with mayonnaise instead of butter cause I didnt want to wait long enough for it to get soft enough to spread. I eat what I want ( my biggest expense) but Im still getting appetite fatigue.

I just recently heard about using mayo instead of butter. Does it work as well? How about the flavor?

It works. Im not sure if I prefer it. I still use butter in the pan instead. I go low and slow though and it takes a while to cook one rather than a couple of minutes.

I really cant tell much difference, depends on the cheese I suppose.
