I've noticed some foods do taste off. I've noticed it in all sweet foods. As if they have aspartame in them. I've always hated the taste of artificial sugar. Other flavors are simply less intense.
I began noticing this year, so I'm fairly certain changes were made recently.
You’re right, forgot about that. Don’t eat a lot of sweets at all, but on the odd occasion I have from a convenience store I’ve thought the same thing.
More and more I walk through a grocery store and feel I might just as well go to Dow Chemical.

Fritos have less flavor because they are now made with white corn which has no flavor, when they used to be made from yellow corn which is full of flavor. The yellow corn is subsidized for use in ethanol production, so growing it for food is not profitable enough.
