They are getting rid of the play places too.

I think it is intentional that they don't want you in the restaurant. They want you at the drive thru window or curbside pickup. They don't want to employ staff to take your order or clean the restaurant.

Most of the Ma'n'Pa places also got bought out by (((corporate interests))) but kept the name.

Yup. They'll replace ingredients and processes with cheaper versions to get higher profits. No one is forced to go, but we do. In huge numbers.
