You'll need a vegetable peeler and a cheese grater.

Peel an apple and then shred it into the water for your oatmeal. Add a touch of salt and some cinnamon. Simmer the shredded apple for a few minutes before adding your oats. Cook as you normally would.

I don't buy milk but I usually have some half-and-half for my coffee. I also add a bit of that plus some brown sugar.

This is an easy way to use up apples that might be a tad too soft to enjoy by themselves.

My daily breakfast is: Oatmeal Cinnamon Walnuts Brown sugar (just a little) Coconut oil Applesauce Fresh or frozen berries or dried fruit

Gonna make some right now.

I process and freeze my own applesauce every year.
