I buy milk from a local processer that buys their raw milk from local farmers that don't use hormones and other shit. Tastes fresher and far better than Hood and other brands, I drink a lot of milk, always have.
Their labeling was so effective, In 2003, this dairy was faced with a lawsuit from Monsanto over the dairy's label on its milk cartons that said "Our farmer's pledge: no artificial hormones," referring to the use of bovine somatotropin (rBST), a drug that increases milk production and that Monsanto sells.
Wow I would love to have access to such products!
You can get organic milk everywhere now, but it's harder to find unpasteurized (raw).
Not everywhere! Small town grocery stores don't stock many options...
Available in Maine and I think northern New England. The brand is Oakhurst Dairy.
