So I watched the video, and I was preparing to get shocked at the way animals were treated

Well I've seen much worse, and what I saw here is, just the exact same thing you would do to 1 of them (chicken) to eat, except it's done on a much bigger scale, but really you grab it, you kill it and you cut to pieces. Chicken didn't look sick btw, it really isn't the worst you can see when it comes to industrial farming, it's relatively decent actually, while we don't see how they're put to death... For some reason that part isn't featured, it's odd... For cows and pigs it's a tad more "gruesome" but only because they're bigger animals and mamals, but they just get along with the program, they don't look like they mind about their surroundings and conditions

What I find more shocking is the alienation of humans in that chain of production, a life spent doing the same mechanical task, everyday like that... "What have I done to deserve that? Is that what god has in store for me? A life like that, and that's it?"

But well, what's the alternative? Probably even worse...

Is that a lesson on how propaganda works? Demonstrated a false equivalence nicely.
