I liked John and his abilities, was put off by his injection of politics, maybe he got back to what his does well? Edit-I do still use his website for recipes

I know he talks about being part Italian and some other ethnicity, I didn't know he was a jew. I enjoy his videos and his cooking is really spot on. He's sort of a dude Julia Child in the no fuss down to earth style she had.
