Yeah I've read about doing that, just gets so windy and cold here that fucking with all of it is a pain

I have a second smoker on order. We already used ours a few weeks ago for the first time this year.

What type do you use, I use a pit barrel. I love it! It holds so much I usually make extra and sell it to friends & family

Right now I have an electrical one. A "smokey mountain series" front door job my wife got off Wayfair for $99. It works pretty well and I have no complaints. Just too small. What I am getting is a Dyna Glo charcoal double door.

I've used the electric ones. They get the job done. I've never used a Dyna Glo, but have used side fire boxes before. I like them, just require a little more tending in my opinion

RecTec pellet smoker.

I’ve had many different smokers, vertical and horizontal. I think my best results were with a horizontal, offset fire box smoker.

Those are beautiful ribs!

Thanks, I've never used pellets, but people speak highly of them. I was entertaining the idea of a pellets fired pizza oven

I have a super old, medium Big Green Egg that does amazing pizza. Steaks when the thermometer is pegged around 1000 degrees. Better than any restaurant.

Yeah steaks gotta have super high searing temp, or its a waste!
