This was a frivolous lawsuit. I'm amazed it even went to court, let alone that a judgment was awarded. The guy took a sip of water that had some cleaning solution in it. This, supposedly, burned his lips and tongue. Ten million dollars. Ka-ching! That's a hell of an expensive tongue blister. This sounds to me like it was a deliberate, conscious scam that was worked out before the plaintiff even drank the water. I bet he had the lawyers all lined up and ready to go.
