Gold is inert in the human body, dumbass. It's not toxic and it doesn't cause any adverse health effects, but it is a waste of gold since it will just come out entombed in shit.

Gold isn't toxic...they've used it in dental fillings and piercings forever, due to gold's antimicrobial properties.
