Best hard boiled eggs easy to peel.....For my friends here at Voat....errrrr Poal. The secret is to heat them fast and cool them fast. Get a boil going and reduce the boil to small bubbles so it doesn't bounce the eggs around. Use a straining spoon to put like 3 or 4 eggs at a time in it and lower them into the water. If cold eggs, 14 minutes, if you let them sit out to room temp, 11 minutes. Use same spoon to get them out straight into a large bowl with icy water in it. They will peal so easy. Like half the shell coming off at once. Times can vary depending on how hard you like your yolk but only by a minute or two. The old egg versus new egg thing is total BS.....Heat fast, cool fast.
