I agree that it is an interesting story. I just wonder if it was improper cooking of the mushrooms, misidentified mushrooms, or some other food born illness. Like I said, I have grown up eating these mushrooms and I have not once heard of someone getting sick from eating them. I suspect it was something else in the food. But you never know, maybe the chef was fucking retarded and didn't cook the mushrooms.
