Hi everyone,

In order to keep the costs down and still be able to eat I usually cook a pound of ground meat (beef, turkey, etc), veggies usually green beans, rice and some seasoning. It isn't anything elaborate but you get a little bit of everything and it won't bankrupt you. Lunch and dinner can be done like this. Breakfast I eat 4 eggs, a whole avocado, a slice of toast with jam and coffee. Snacks I have nuts, cottage cheese and crackers, etc. Hope this might be helpful to some folks. Thanks.

Costs down? Raise chickens and rabbits. Grow potatoes corn radishes etc. Get a pig of you have some space.

I don't have farmland nor do I have land like that. I am in a very modest situation.

Spend some time working for someone who does. Maybe a community garden?

Breakfast salad: diced cheese, tomato and avocado mixed with scrambled eggs and hot sauce.

You eat what I used to make my dogs for food, but I added squashes and vitamin powder

Trying to make the fat bastards lose weight and was suspicious of pre-made dog food. I ate it while putting it together

It's good and simple to make. Sometimes people have said I behaved like a dog. I used to eat dog food as a kid as sad that sounds. I had a strange life....
