I quit any food containing sugar for years. Today I got some pancakes in a fast food that were loaded with sugar. After the first one I had a gag reflex, so I had to spit the pancake. The taste was horrible. The taste of saccharinity has become unbearable for me. I was feeling like there was poison in my mouth, and my organism rejected it straight away.

OK. I will look up for the recipe.

It's easy as pie:

  1. Cook bacon, but make sure they are flat and not curled up. I usually do it in the oven on a cookie sheet and then place another cookie sheet (bottom side down) on top to press them flat. You have to be very careful about the grease though.

  2. Prepare pancake batter, less runny is better.

  3. Put batter in a shallow flat dish that's long enough to hold the bacon.

  4. Submerge bacon in batter then transfer to well greased pan. I find that usually the top side doesn't have enough batter so I'll pour a little on while it's cooking.

These are great with sour cream.
