I think he meant drain the water but don't toss the fat from the pan after frying since that is the fat our body uses for a lot of functions but if your a big carb eater it'll only make you worse off so toss the grains and sugars and go keto as in high fat medium protein vegetable and no grain diet. Not atkins but better and you have to eat a lot because you're going to go into high burn mode on this kind of diet. Sugar stops the burn in it's tracks as in any grains or starches.

You're correct, thanks for pointing it out. I missed OP's reference to fat/grease. I thought he was talking about the water content. And yes the greasier the better. There's a lot of good stuff in animal fat but unfortunately and incorrectly it was demonized largely as a result lobbying in the 60s and 70s by the corn and sugar industries, resulting in abominations like The Food Pyramid that became the de facto standard for nutrition. The high carb-centric diet is literally killing us.
