I guess I hadn't even thought about that it could be sand. I guess it makes sense I probably wouldn't want to use the method myself as it would be hard to get all the sand off the food I would imagine and that gritty texture would drive me nuts.
it depends on the type of sand, you wouldnt like dig in your backyard or anything. some sand just rolls right off depending on the food. the guy using his hand scoop out the bowl... so what
really if you are disturbed by anything in this video you should stick with starbucks. meanwhile how many recalls are they for "safe" food every fucking day there is one....

From a sanitary prospective I don't trust anything I didn't make at home. I also don't really care for the most part but I'm not going to pretend there isn't some idiot who didn't wash their hands cooking my food at a restaurant. I also think if you insulate your self from 99% of the germs in the world you will probably end up with a weak immune system I think it works a lot like a muscle either you use it or lose it.
