I've been smoking a little pot here or there as I'm not drinking again (wasn't going overboard though). But other commenters pointed out the same. It's there, but the yids also stole some European folk music on the way. The passing tones in the melody do give off a Mideast scale vibe.

The truth is that Israelis were Aryans and Hebrew is probably a variation of Aryan language that got mixed with local Edomite and Canaanite languages.
I believe after death of Jesus that most Aryans from that area packed up and moved to Europe as jews would surely genocide them.
