It's funny to me when people say they are saving precious metals for when the economy/society collapses. Most people will be dead in short order and precious metals are heavy to move when mobility will be a key component of survival. I guess if they have them buried out in the yard in a safe place they can find after shit calms down it might work out in the long run, but in the beginning weapons and ammo and the knowledge and numbers to use both would be king.
