It sucks she got sick and had a miscarriage but she knew the risks and decided to drink it anyway.

Most likely a jewsuit to ban raw milk like in Canada. Raw milk is so good for you, they absolutely want to get rid of it.

Raw milk -has- been banned in the USA in basically every state for decades. It is just recently that some states are reversing that ban and allowing you to buy raw milk again if you so chose.

I am entirely against the nanny state. If you want to drink raw milk then no one should be stopping you. It's your choice. If you get sick, well that was your choice.

Well, this was in FL which does ban it for human use. People get around it by buying a "share" in a animal since you can't sell it but you can use what you produce for yourself or your family.

These are the states that currently have it banned (19).

Read the article. She did not drink the milk. Her son drank it, got sick, tested positive for Ecoli and Campylobacter and was hospitalized. Mom then exhibited similar symptoms and tested positive for Campylobacter.

Campylobacter is only transmissible from human to human via a fecal-oral route.

That evokes a nice family friendly visual, huh?
