Yeah but fuck all parties involved. Student is female so probably some SJW type POS trying to play 'cancelling' games. The teacher is a fucking english teacher (so you know she's an insufferable bitch), who is praised/awarded by other teachers (so you know she is a rabbid democrat) fuck them and their corrupt union and their commie shit. Hopefully they both loose this battle somehow.

Here's my take on what happened:

The female student pulled a Fight Club and hit herself.

It would be tough to prove this without great forensic evidence.

However, sometimes, forensic specialists can find out if the student truly hit herself. She may not be intelligent enough to have hidden all of her trails. If she told ANYONE, sent a message to anyone, at all, where she admitted to hitting herself to frame the teacher, she's fucked. Digital Forensic specialists can usually recover this data even if she deleted it. The police will need a warrant.

So if this kid made this shit up, she's likely fucked. It is highly likely she is not aware of all the ways she needs to cover her tracks to pull this off. It would take weeks of planning for a pro to pull this off much less a high school (junior high?) student.

If nothing comes out in the case, and the teacher really did beat this kid, this teacher should not be allowed around children ever again.

Student criticized her from saying the word nigger while reading aloud from "Mice and Men". What a cunt. Student deserved what she got. Maybe the teacher was just sick and tired of nigger shit. Seems one can't say NIGGER even quoting? Fuck that noise.

don't care whether the hitting story is fake or not

but that teacher looks exactly like the type of person who is rewarded in this shit society. have a look at her. you can tell she's an absolutely clueless liberal fuckwit who knows just how to suck up to whoever is higher than herself on the hierarchy of this repulsive society.
