Because I work my ass off on our property and in my house. Gyms are for people who don't exercise at home. Not necessary to be able to bench or squat. What matters is diet and if you can shoot a bullseye in a target.

Thanks, yeah. Goal was originally 2 plate bench 3 plate squat 4 plate deadlift. I have squat, DL will be here in a short time and bench will happen likely before winter.

I like to keep in shape by working, not by "working out" in gay hot spots.

Most people don't workout as they have large loans to payoff, so they end up working as much as possible and sacrifice their health. They end up buying a property in a suburb area with overinflated price which they can't really do anything with in terms of the land, and they have a car payment for a car that will be old in several months.

I understand all of this. The question is not judgemental in anyway. It's just a simple question that's receiving quite the amount of pushback.

Gyms are filthy places. It's a great place to pick up a disease or two or three.
