It's only hard if you're an autist supreme like me (i.ibb.co).

Fix your diet. If you eat unhealthy garbage: stop. If you eat a tremendous surplus of calories: stop, you won't beat it by exercise unless you go insanely hard, as hard as olympians.

This.

The sheer volume of exercise one must do to catch up to just a soda and candy bar in excess per day is insane.

Walking is pretty easy and 1 mile burns 100 calories. It's not hard to burn extra calories.

Most healthy active people struggle to eat enough calories to achieve optional nutrition.

walking a mile

Yes. Have fun burning 100 calories in ~20 minutes. And then eating nearly 3 times that in a snickers bar.

That's trueish. They don't struggle with it. It's just not something they gorge on for existence like hams do, so they often need to make sure they keep up.

Have been tracking calories and macros since Sept 10 2019. I need to eat ~3.2k calories for maintenance. I often only hit 2400-2600 at the end of the day. None of it is a struggle. It just doesn't happen.
