It's only hard if you're an autist supreme like me (i.ibb.co).

Fix your diet. If you eat unhealthy garbage: stop. If you eat a tremendous surplus of calories: stop, you won't beat it by exercise unless you go insanely hard, as hard as olympians.

Put in the work, be consistent. The rest will come.

It will be slow as fuck though.

Building muscle is not a fast process. A body wants to be in homeostasis. It wants to use as little energy as possible to maintain itself. This is where;

Use it or lose it.

come from. Your body will begin to eat muscle mass first if you don't use it very regularly.

[–] 2 pts

Yes, consistency above all. Also rights are like muscles. If you don't use them you lose them

Yeah it's nearly impossible to out-exercise a bad diet. Another part of the problem is that people who are undisciplined with their eating will view exercise as a free pass to be even more gluttonous.

[–] 1 pt

This.

The sheer volume of exercise one must do to catch up to just a soda and candy bar in excess per day is insane.

Walking is pretty easy and 1 mile burns 100 calories. It's not hard to burn extra calories.

Most healthy active people struggle to eat enough calories to achieve optional nutrition.

walking a mile

Yes. Have fun burning 100 calories in ~20 minutes. And then eating nearly 3 times that in a snickers bar.

optimal*

That's trueish. They don't struggle with it. It's just not something they gorge on for existence like hams do, so they often need to make sure they keep up.

source;

Have been tracking calories and macros since Sept 10 2019. I need to eat ~3.2k calories for maintenance. I often only hit 2400-2600 at the end of the day. None of it is a struggle. It just doesn't happen.

Learn about fermentation theory to maximize gut health.

Sauerkraut or kimchi. Makes filler foods like cabbage worthwhile. Watch out for epic farts though.

Do serious weight training for 6 months. Add lean muscle mass which burns calories to maintain itself, and you can eat fuck all whatever you want.

Probably bad advice since i have freakishly good genetics (30+ years old and still have an over 3 foot standing verticle jump). Honestly though, adding muscle mass through serious strength training is literally the best thing you can do for your health. Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength is the best book on the subject out there.

That's retarded and wrong.

Great. Your first 6 months you might add 10 pounds of muscle. First year you MIGHT add 16 pounds of muscle. MAYBE, unlikely but MAYBE. That 16 pounds of muscle won't be enough to allow you to eat "fuck all whatever you want". That's retarded for multiple reasons;

1 - you still need to stay within a strict calorie range. 16 pounds of muscle won't increase that range that much.

2 - "fuck all whatever" okay nigger. Go ahead eat (((soy protein))) (((veggie estrogen burgers))) non grass fed milk / beef. your results will start slipping

Strength training is great but waving weights around is also a good way to damage joints, tendons and ligaments.
Make sure to include functional whole body movements. Olympic lift is highly recommended.

[–] 2 pts

Right, because olympic lifting isnt a dangerous way to lift weights if one doesnt know what they are doing?

"functional movements" is retarded crossfit faggot slang. The squat is the king of lifts for a reason, and should be mastered first and foremost

10 bucks says a shovel wears you out in 5 minutes.

Find yourself a good protein shake without soy, make sure it's packed with fruit and veggie extracts.
Wake up pound the shake, wash it down with fresh water, brush your teeth and get to work!

Anything legit about cortisol and it's negative effects on Testosterone? Or more snake oil?

[–] 1 pt

Cortisol management is absolutely a thing.

  • Fix your diet.

  • Fix your sleep schedule.

Listen to your body.

Don't force yourself to stay up unless it's absolutely necessary. Don't force yourself out of bed unless it's absolutely necessary or you're actually awake.

The two listed are the basics of nearly everything health related. The first one about diet will improve the second one. Both will improve hormone management and production.

Thats right. Eat clen and tren hard with good gear. ;-)
