Eat them in one bite like a hard boiled egg? Or what?
i mean you could, its the same just a softer yoke. just play around with the cook time till you get the yoke the way you like.
Also if you put the eggs in cold water when they are done it will stop them from cooking anymore.
You could eat them all in one bite. You can also squish them up much like an avocado when making guacamole. Then either eat with a fork or spread on toasted sprouted bread. Don’t forget the salt and pepper. I call them jammy eggs as they’re a bit like the consistency of jam. Bring the water to a boil, lower the eggs in. Boil moderately (not a high boil) for 6.5 minutes. Plunge into ice water for two. But as funky said, you’ll need to play with the time to suit your own preference.
Yeah, I've heard 3/6/9 for boiling eggs. 3 minutes for cooked, but nothing hard. 6 for soft boiled, 9 for hard. Tried making a soft boiled this morning for 6, and had a really hard time peeling it. The white stuck to the shell really bad, and a lot of it ended up getting thrown away.
I believe the white sticking to the shell means the egg is fresh, with older eggs peeling much easier.
Older eggs are better for hard boiled eggs. I've found if I just buy eggs and boil them right away they can be very hard to peel. If they have been in the fridge for a week or more they tend to be easier to peel.
I've heard adding baking soda to the water can help with them peeling as well but haven't tried it.
