exactly my point. this is known. they are purposefully punishing or at least dis-incentivizing "good" behavior and rewarding bad. and low and behold when things inevitably start to or actually go to shit then the government gets to step in, claim an "existential crisis", not mentioning it was their own doing, and then proceed to alot themselves even more control over your life. it's a part of the problem > reaction > solution cycle they love. create chaos then seize the moment to usher in the bullshit they never could in "normal" times.
