So I've got to disagree with you and @Professor_de_la_Paz on this one. When men invade womens spaces, especially physical sports, they are predators. They are failures that cannot compete against other men and they are looking for an easy victory to make themselves superior. They are also looking for easy victims, it's really akin to criminal activity.
When women try to compete in mens spaces they are doing it because they believe they are up to the challenge, they believe themselves to be equal or better than some of the men they will be going up against. I am not opposed to this as long as they get equal treatment and no special rules are made for them. They fail 98.9 times (estimated) out of 100. They learn that they cannot compete with the boys. Men are not victims if a woman proves herself to be able to hold her own at their sport. There are zero women in the NFL. If a woman came along that could throw a football 80 yards into a trashcan on the run and she could take a hit from a 260 pound defensive back, get up and call the next play and keep going? Hell yea, bring that bitch on. But that won't happen, because that woman does not exist. Men are by far superior athletes than women and should never be allowed to play on womens sports teams. If a woman can handle the task and she can take on the men, well then, I say let her.
This goes into even non-physical sports as well, such as Chess. There are womens chess leagues because their brains work different than ours and if they did not have their own division then there would rarely if ever be a womens champion. Men should never be allowed to compete in the womens league for this reason but if the higher up echelon women do choose to play against the man then that is their choice and it should be allowed. If the male champ is defeated by the female champ then he is not a victim, he was just outplayed. Imagine if you were the male champ and the female champ challenged you to a match, would you refuse? Would you puss out or would you show her whats up?
My stance on this, and all other sex-based issues is rather simple. There should be: 1. Men-only spaces (sports, clubs, schools) 2. Women-only spaces (sports, clubs, schools) 3. Co-ed spaces (sports, clubs, schools)
If a woman wants to compete against men on a level playing field, let them. Do NOT allow the sexes to "mix" while allowing different rules for each.
I played a round of golf years ago in a co-ed outing. On the front nine everyone hit from the women's tees. On the back nine everyone hit from the men's tees. The results were exactly as you'd expect.
>If a woman wants to compete against men on a level playing field, let them. Do NOT allow the sexes to "mix" while allowing different rules for each
So we're in agreement then. Nice.
You bring up good points but I disagree. In sports its really a non-issue as females simply cannot compete. The chess example is fine, but men again dominate here. There is only one example of a woman winning a game from a reigning male champion. If a woman still wants to play sure.
I am not opposed to this as long as they get equal treatment and no special rules are made for them.
The Citadel allows different physical fitness standards for males and females.
There are advantages to all male education and The Citadel should never have been court ordered to allow females. Nancy is protesting against trans using courts to invade female spaces (rightfully so), however she was fine taking advantage of a court ruling to attend a school that didn't want her there (The Citadel lost a three year legal battle to keep women out). She should be condemned for this.
