The primary targets of feminism are other women & the ultimate control of female fertility & the repression of rival's reproductive fitness. This is not a conscious process but demonstrates how those ignorant or in denial of evolutionary processes are the ones most enslaved by it. Like many evolutionary explanations, this seems counterintuitive. Understanding it demands an understanding of proximate and ultimate causes, and the role self-deception plays in female psychology. This is a unique hypothesis first gleaned by 2 people: Donald Symons very briefly mooted it in his 1978 book The Evolution of Human Sexuality, and myself, independently, first in 2008 & expanding it now for mainstream dissemination. It's imperative we begin to study the unconscious mechanisms of female intrasexual competition as more women enter the corridors of power. The concept of equality is hardwired into female psychology by evolution. Within the female sex, equality is enforced by the threat of ostracism. The invention of social media has enabled women to ratchet up this command and control social economy as it allows women to stalk one another. Someone "likes" a politically incorrect post? It will be noticed. Feminism utilizes this evolutionary propensity, female hypervigilance (microaggressions!) and deferment to authority figures, inter alia. People are "equal" in name only. The rules of "equality" "fairness" and "empathy" are instructions to keep everyone in their place while the people who invented the rules -- feminists, elites -- cheat. When caught competing and cheating, self-deception kicks in. Believing your own lies makes it more likely others will also believe them. Women are far more tribal than men. When they compete it is to eliminate the competition, not, as men do, to strengthen the team. Patriarchy is the primary arena for male intrasexual competition. Feminism is the primary arena for female intrasexual competition. Take note of how proximate cultural goals always circle back to ultimate evolutionary ones: running interference on reproductive fitness. In actions if not words, it's not patriarchy that seeks control of women's fertility, it's feminism. And it's feminism that has done more to suppress and repress female reproductive fitness, going so far today as to sterilise young healthy women & murder their evolutionary fitness via trans ideology. I've no doubt the powers that be are aware of these propensities and perhaps this is behind affirmative action. Black women have these propensities, while also having the highest self-esteem of all 'races'. In other demographics, men have higher self-esteem than women. This is not the case with people of sub-Saharan ancestry: here male and female self-esteem is equal. In social science this is called the "Black self-esteem advantage" and for 80 years has been one of the most replicated findings in social science. Black women have the highest subjective well-being whilst claiming the highest grievance. This is the driver behind intersectionality.
