If a feminist mentions the "gender pay gap" in a conversation, it is easy to provide data showing them their mistake.

The feminist who wrote that expects society at large to value a preschool teacher as highly as, say, a brick mason. A childcare worker as highly as a tower crane operator.
She doesn't factor in the main reason that male-dominated roles tend to pay more. They're physically demanding, often dangerous jobs that most women simply can't do and the pay needs to reflect that difficulty / danger.
