God told Adam directly "do not eat of the fruit". Eve wasn't alive at that time.

Adam told Eve "do not eat or touch the fruit". Adam added to the word of God. Why did Adam eat the fruit himself if he knew it was wrong? Man is responsible. Women only go as far as man allows them to.

Actually it is. It is like adultery. Thinking about adultery a sin. Thinking of another God is a sin. Thinking about stealing is a sin. Thinking of disobeying is disobedience. “Sinful thoughts” are sin in their own right. You have to repent for your thoughts even if you do not go through with the deed. This is expounded upon greatly. I won’t waste my time getting into it. This is what I do on the toilet. Do your own homework I really don’t care if you’re unconvinced by me. Look into it yourself further if you care to.
