I had so many low level jobs in my teens and young adulthood where I, the able bodied male, got fucked. They never bring that shit up. And it’s the same for all kinds of work fields.
When I worked at a show store, I was a salesman. It was a pretty awesome job for a high schooler because I could make commissions. It was all about selling extra shot with the shoes and the numbers were charted daily. I was doing really well. Then they started putting me in the back doing inventory more and more and more. I got fired when I complained. The reason was I was the biggest and strongest. The females couldn’t lift inventory and couldn’t reach.
It was like that at lots of jobs.
Yep. This is why at every construction job I see, the women are holding stop signs and then being promoted to middle management.
