Once is an accident.

Twice is a coincidence.

Three times is enemy action.

What are the odds of a series of comparable collisions between armed NATO patrol vessels and large ships?

Truthfully, there are a shitload of ships in the shipping lanes that NATO patrols - they are very very busy waterways.

Female incompetence aside, this is starting to look like enemy computer hacking.

Also, they no longer use human lookouts on NATO ships? The kind that could warn of an approaching vessel in all but the worst environmental conditions? Cutting costs on sailor salaries?
