If she's loyal and takes care of the inside of the house, why would you have a problem with her? Presumably you have a good relationship and you like being around her. If all you're interested in is looks then I'd suggest you've got the problem. A wife that's raised your kids, been a good loyal partner for 20 years, and takes care of you at home, now that's someone to fight for, you've gotten the lotto win.

Ostensibly you are right.

Men have a weird duality to them. We sit on this website and complain about women at the level that you describe and bitch about them not being loyal. And then there is the other side of us that is very shallow and animalistic thing that only values women for their looks at a certain level.

I've never been able to reconcile the two.

If you can't see the woman you married and grew old with, in her as she is today, then maybe you've been indoctrinated too much by the talmud vision, and marketing brainwashing.

It's about a sense of betrayal and being robbed of something potentially beautiful. The first is rejection of the current situation, the second is acceptance. "If I can't have one that's loyal, I can at least have one that's pretty."
