The plural of "anecdote" isnt "data". In New Zealand it's undeniable that women contribute no net taxes. It's hard to argue other industrialized nations are different unless someone can trot out a country where women are either paying far more taxes or consuming far less in government expenses.
In terms of sales taxes, it's true that women constitute the majority of spending by a hefty margin. That being said, if they didnt earn it you cant argue that they're the taxpayer. It'd be akin to arguing that some random tax accountant at a Fortune 500 is "paying" millions in taxes because they cut the corporate tax checks to the IRS for the entire company.
