You can stop pretending female hypergamy is the fault of the men but you won't stop.

Hypergamy is just part of evolution. Men do it. Women do it. Patriarchal polygamy increases female hypergamy for wealth. Its up to men to practice monogamy. If one out of 10 males engages in polygamy, the monogamy wont work.

Perhaps that is true now but it wasn’t true until the 80s or so when the majority of married women became workers. Before then virtually all divorces were caused by male bread winners walking out on female dependents. Which incentivized women getting jobs.

Look, the destruction of monogamy is really nobody’s fault, unless you count jews and Im not even sure they truly understand how harmful their behavior is.

Monogamy was destroyed in two steps.

Progressives encouraged male hedonism and appealed to a polygamous urge that all men have. This probably starts with the protestant reformation which allows wealthy men to divorce one wife and take another if he can support both. Polygamy. The corruption of the male continues with the growth of “night life” and pornagraphy which caters to men.
Progressives expand financial protection to abandoned married women with alimony, child support, welfare. Progessives expand the bureacracy which becomes increasingly inefficient and mostly a wealth redistribution scam. Women get easy but unproductive jobs in the bureacracy. Women are now financially independent of men by these measures and therefore males have become optional. Economically optional.

Is it fair? No. Is it based on a deception? Yes. But most people do not see it this way. Women feel that they deserve 100,000 a year for school administrator and “if my husband is a grump or an asshole, why should I put up with it?” Men vote for more social spending.

We got here together. If Henry VIII had known his “duty” was to stick with his first wife, the old spanish bag who produce a single female heir, maybe things might have gone differently. But its really pointless for me to keep bringing up male behaviors that led to the current dysfunctional state of affairs, to the exclusion of all other parties who may have played a part.
