No, that is the wrong frame. You can say the same thing using another frame that is more accurate in my view:
White men and women have co-evolved over at least a few million years for survival. This has shaped our bodies and our minds / psychology.
What it means is that when one a piece of the puzzle is missing, our naturaly evolved minds / psychologies can spin out of control and end up resting in an unnatural position in search of that missing piece. This all happens at the subconcious level. It's only been in the last 100 years that we have even started to learn about evolutionary psychology, it's hardly common knowledge.
Whether men are not offering a strong enough patriarchy or whether or not men are just missing is up for debate.
However, if you listen to the words of our and men our women here, the conversation is something like this:
"where are our women in this war?"
"we are here, why haven't you asked, where you been?"
I think, because we have allowed middle eastern based religion (Christianity) into our cultures, it has polluted our perception of patriarchy vs matriarchy. If you listen to our women respond (especially in this thread) they are merely waiting to be asked to put on the armour and take up the sword along side us.
