That is a very black pill view. Back in the day, there was an understanding that the man went out to be productive and provide for his family while the wife raised kids and managed the household. Being a good wife and mother was respected and admired by society because it resulted in happy men and children. It was a symbiotic relationship that required the husband to work but provided a pleasant home life (when it was a functional marriage). (((Feminists))) destroyed that dynamic, told women that they should be single moms and pitted men vs women in the workplace.
