Thats separating the wheat from the chaff. I'll bet you felt lighter after all that. I've been unfriended by many over the years for my opinions and for stating what I hold as truth. Some of them saddened me, but that is the way it must be.

Ironically, my friends from high school who were a punky grungy alt crowd, many of whom have gone hard left, are the ones who have least unfriended me. More family has unfriended me than that crowd, those are the ones who have saddened me most. All the others were newer. I still have decent debates with the old school peeps.
