please do research. varroa mites are the most common pest affecting honeybees. if you have honeybees, you have varroa mites too. it's just a matter of controlling their numbers with testing and treating if necessary, but if you just don't do anything you won't have bees for very long.

just to clarify the most common threatening pest affecting honey bees.
obviously there's wax moths and hive beetles but those are very minor and only really come into play if your hive dies out.
varroa, however, is basically the most devastating thing that is afflicting honey bees right now. the pesticides / fungicides are bad, but varroa is a MASSIVE issue that is killing more hives than anything else.
Ahh ok we have oxalic acid to treat them if needed.
