This is half true. It's CGI imposed over living mice in some cases, and in other cases they will glue a couple layers of fake fur over the mouse and shave it's tail to make it appear like a different animal. This is why so few trannies actually keep rats as pets -- shaving that tail every day is too much upkeep. Not as much as keeping horses painted, but still more work than most trannies are willing to do.
