I find it hilarious that the potential demise of the "twitter killer" app is being reported on twitter. I don't have twitter, but it's still funny.

That dipshit has got a bunch of uncreative, do just enough to get by, woke fucktards working for him. He can throw all the money in the world at that project and it will inevitably fail, just like that asshole who was going to compete with My Pillow and went tits up in 6 months.

No, he certainly has hired the cream of the cream, technically speaking, and those people usually keep working past office hours, because that's more the norm than the exception in that field... Unlike factory workers, there's no clear line drawn between professional life and personal life, because that's often what it takes to get the job done and keep your job. It's also one of the reasons why the pay isn't exactly the same...

And when it comes to the overall project, they aren't paid to be creative, they are paid to figure out a way to make it work as expected, to implement the vision and wishes of the higher ups according to specifications, it's not up to them to decide how it's going to be regarding general policies, what's allowed and what's not, freedom of speech censorship and all that, just like boeing workers don't get to choose who's going to get shot with the next missile they are building

"Threads" problem isn't technical in nature, it's political. Turns out not that many people are interested in yet another mass censoring platform run by a bunch of politically correct control freaks, to share their opinions.
