It failed because people don't want to be required to wear bulky headsets all the time. The software is too crude, the experience isn't all that great.
I believe the reason Zuckerberg did this is because it wasn't his idea. It's an incremental creep toward trans humanism the globalists want us to embrace. I believe Zuckerberg is just another Fauci puppet creature being directed to act as a technocrat to push the transhumanist agenda. Metaverse is simply the gateway. The Overton window hasn't shifted enough and the current system is way to crude. Of course, failure won't stop the agenda. It never does. They will put more lipstick on the pig and re-introduce it.
I keep seeing all these agendas being forced on society and the enormous cost is mind blowing. The simple way to stop this shit is to go back to real money. If we had real money, Metaverse would not exist, Wuhan flu and gain of function would not exist. People would not risk real assets to break, destroy and kill. But because we have jew fiat currency, all this death, destruction and mayhem is possible and encouraged.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention AI. The public is accepting of this because it's fun now. Later, it will cease to be fun after governments all over the world give AI rights that real people don't get. This will happen because the AI parlor trick will seem convincing enough that the deplorables will agree they are sentient. Then, of course, AI will vote us into prison.
Agree on all counts. They absolutely knew the hardware wasn't ready to go mainstream. Noseberg is first and foremost a jewish supremacist by bloodline. Similar to smartphones, there may be a few iterations, but eventually they want us all living in augmented reality, probably with an implanted chip that tracks us. The implanted chip will allow for greater "productivity" at work and interact with time tracking systems. Employers won't outright require it, but they'll make it a major pain in the ass to work without the chip. Then they will use the media and university systems to indoctrinate kids until it's "normal" to have a chip implanted, just like it's somehow "normal" to cut off the end of baby penises. They can totally do a chip if they've convinced people to mutilate male baby genitals.
They will probably release a new "virus" and use that as leverage to have the chip implanted for "contact tracing". All of this will be mandated in places like China and some of Europe, and Australia.
We might not see this in our lifetimes, but this is their agenda. They want to tag their cattle with 2.0 version tags. Smartphones are 1.0. The point of this is population control, both in terms of headcount, but also eliminating resistance and increasing compliance.
