In their defense, any parent is going to by nature defend their child. My mom has always told me that. She’s always on my side whether I’m murdered somebody or not. It’s part of their duty and their biological make up. They know the truth deep down

But thats basically arguing that the moral benefit of what he did was because of him.
Rather he made the world a worse place, actively, and Kyle was the one that corrected that.
If I was a parent I would want to see if what they were saying is true. Of course, I'm white and care.
