On May 16, 2020, Rosalie Cook was stabbed to death. Randy Lewis found Rosalie in a drugstore parking lot, about to return home with some birthday cards. He pushed the 80-year-old to the ground and plunged a knife into her chest. Then he found her keys and attempted to drive away in her car, but was stopped by a police officer. Rosalie left behind 10 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
