On May 6, 2019, Michael Buntjer and Bradley Kelley were shot. Michael and Bradley were visiting a third friend when her ex-boyfriend, Keonte Caldwell, showed up and threatened her with a knife. Michael and Bradley chased Keonte away, but he returned with his brother, Curtis Welch. They shot all three of the friends, killing Michael and Bradley.
