On May 4, 2019, Jackson Lloyd Weller was killed outside a bar. According to witnesses, Jackson had been involved in a "minor scuffle" with some associates of Darian Bashir. Afterwards, the 23-year-old was standing on the sidewalk when Darian walked up to him, shot him in the chest, and ran away. In his defense, Darian claimed that Jackson had used "emotionally charged slurs" against him.
