For unclear reasons, a passenger named Kahlyl Powe exited Kris's car and shot him multiple times. The vehicle rolled down the street until it hit a pole, while Kahlyl put his gun back in his pocket and walked along the sidewalk to his nearby apartment as if nothing had happened, according to witnesses.
