On April 26, 2020, Ryan Gibbs Hord was at home with his fiancée late in the evening when he heard some sounds in the front yard. He went outside and discovered Craig Willis breaking into his truck. When Ryan confronted him, Craig fatally shot the 41-year-old. Ryan left behind a teenage son.
